250th Anniversary Quilt

Bowdoinham Historical Society, focuses on Bowdoinham before 1912. (We hope to create another next year which celebrates Bowdoinham from 1912 to the present.) All 33 blocks have been “adopted” and six have been finished. They are all truly wonderful!  The plan is to begin assembling the quilt in November and to have it ready for display in January 2012.

November 2011: 18 of 33 blocks finished.

We have decided not to raffle this quilt so that it can stay in town. Instead we are selling the right to have a name (Individual, Family, Business) on the reverse of the quilt. $5.00 a line.
